Deborah Taylor has secured a stand at the Ignite Chilli Festival 25 November 2017 1:00pm - 8:00pm.

It will be at no cost to us however from time to time the Chamber would like to borrow a couple of Rotarians to help out here and there.  To assist with the Rotary Stand it will be beside Heidi and I who will be selling clothing etc so we can chip in if the Chamber needs some bodies. 

Have spoken to Angie at STEPS regarding selling chilli plants, herbs and small trees.  Vicki at Red Hot Chilli Pepper said we can sell herbs too and trees as long as we have the chilli and herbs thing trees will be OK too.  The trees fit in nicely with our RI Presidents message regarding our environment and planting more trees.

Angie got Lisa (in charge of plant nursery) to ring me.  Lisa said there is plenty of time to have some seedlings available and some small trees.  Of course I let STEPS know that the proceeds will go to them and that we will promote Rotary and STEPS on the day.  

I will organise booking of the portable EFTPOS machine from Bendigo bank next week.  I told Lisa that we will be guided by her as to what pricing we should put on the plants.
