On May 22nd the Rotary Club of Cadillac awarded five $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating seniors from Cadillac Senior High School.
Each year the Rotary Club of Cadillac awards scholarships to graduating Cadillac High School seniors who exhibit high standards of excellence beyond an outstanding grade point average. To be eligible, applicants must be 1) A graduating senior from Cadillac High School and 2) Planning to attend and having been accepted into an accredited, post-secondary educational institution.
Selection criteria is based on demonstrated accomplishments in such areas as: special talents (music, art, public speaking, athletics, etc.), school or community leadership (e.g. class officer, captain of a team, church, social services volunteer, etc.), and challenges of obstacles faced and overcome (e.g. family or personal difficulties, such as an injury, divorce, etc.).
