WWII Veteran Burnie Sutter turns 100!
We were honored to be able to participate in WWII Veteran Burnie Sutter's 100th Birthday celebration at Saddlebrook Memory Care in Frisco, Texas.  Members of the Plano East Rotary Club put out flags to honor him as well as provided him with a flag honorarium and challenge coin.  Burnie served with the 90th Infantry Division under Gen. George S. Patton at Utah Beach in Normandy.  His unit liberated the Flossenburg Concentration Camp and he was awarded the French Legion Medal of Honor.

Many people spoke on his behalf and presented him with gifts and awards.  This was followed by a car parade of over 100 cars.  It was a great day and great honor!

Happy Birthday Burnie.  Thank you for your service!
