Rotarian David Lindstrom (left), Youth Exchange Committee Chair introduced our Rotary Exchange Student Bianca Mizobe (center) from Brazil at our October 6, 2016 noon meeting at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel. Speaking entirely without notes in English, for her a second of at least three or four languages, Bianca showed us slides of her family and home in Brazil. She is currently living with Rotarian Bill Erickson and his wife Diana, but will stay with at least three families during her year in Walla Walla. Rotarian Sara Archer (right) has previously hosted an exchange student and serves as a counselor on the Youth Exchange Committee.

Bianca has set a goal of becoming a lawyer and judge early in life, being only a junior in high school. She certainly has a remarkable maturity and presence before a crowd. Best wishes Bianca from all of us at the Rotary Club of Walla Walla. John was happy to present her with an official banner from our Club that she can share with her family when she returns.
