It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Club Member James “Jim” Henderson on Sunday, January 17. 

Jim joined the Club in 1982. Almost 39 years ago! He was very involved in the Club’s Salmon Bake Fundraiser over the years. His long membership is a testimony to his belief in the work of Rotary. 

Jim was the Owner/Winemaker of Lowden Hills Winery, Walla Walla WA, established 2002 and, Owner/Viticulturist of Win Chester Vineyards, Lowden, WA established 2001.

Prior to such his career was centered around Golf - past PGA Golf Professional, 1964-1982, and Member of Professional Clubmakers Association, 1985-2004. His golf career included teaching golf to clients in the Walla Walla Valley, 1965 to 2001; golf club repairs, 1964 until present; owner of Henderson Golf Company, 1980 to 1992; Principal Tour Fairways Golf Center, 1992-2002, which included an all-weather Golf Driving Range; and Golf Store and premier Custom Golf Club Service. 2001 he retired most golf activities and planted wine grapes and started commercial winemaking business.
