I am honored to be a part of this group. Once again I was able to participate in a project that makes me feel good about being a member of this club. The Hand2Hand project was so well attended and successful.

As we move into spring, I know we will have more projects. Thank you in advance for making them successful. The barbecue is in a few months; we will be anxiously engaged in making that successful. It is our signature fundraiser. The community looks forward to them. Thank you for all that you do.

InterClub 2020

INTERCLUB 2020

The Interclub Dinner & Dance will be held on Saturday, March 28^th. The Rockford Rotary Club is sponsoring the event which should be a lot of fun. Cost is $30 to be charged by the Treasurer for each person attending. Catering is by the Honey Creek/Grist Mill which is known for its good food. Reservations must be made ASAP to Cindy Witke, text or call to 616-322-9990.

When: Saturday, March 28^th

Where: The FARM 5085 13 Mile Road, Rockford

-Cocktails: 5-6 p.m.

-Dinner: 6-7 p.m. (Appetizers, Salad, Chicken & Beef main dish with sides)

-Speaker: 7-7:30 District Governor Dave Thomas

-Square Dancing 7:30 – 9 p.m.

Attending clubs are Cedar Springs, Comstock Park, Coopersville, Grand Rapids North, Greenville,

Lowell, Sparta, Stanton, and Rockford. This should be a fun social event.

March 12 – COMMITTEES IN ACTION

Our Committees have work to do to prepare for the rest of 2020. We need the input of each of you. Each Committee is asked to set two (2) attainable goals that will benefit the club and make it more effective. Make a plan to attain your goals. You and your committee can make a difference. We have the potential for a large project utilizing the additional finances of the District. A grant application is proposed to be submitted this fall.

Our committees are: (1)Projects & Public Relations and (2) Club, Vocational, Youth & Rotary Foundation

If you haven’t committed to either 1 or 2, please let Sharon Steffens know which one you will be on. We can do great things by planning and working together. We need to prepare & you can make a difference.
