I know we are a smaller group of Rotarians compared to other chapters, but our smaller numbers make us work harder and it is amazing how much we accomplish. No matter what is suggested, everyone just says, “let’s go, what do we need to do”. This chapter makes things happen. Thank you for always stepping up. We will never know how much the things we do effect so many. We will never see the relief on a child’s face when they open their weekend package and know that their hunger will be alleviated, and they will have the energy to do school work and concentrate, or just go and play. But you and I know, it makes a difference. How much knowledge is being fostered just by building a garden at Zinser Elementary, or community water projects that this chapter has been involved in around the world? You all have made our community and world a better place. In these trying times please do not lose sight of the fact that together we will change lives for the better. There is no stopping the CP Rotary Chapter. I recently saw a picture someone took of their children down at the grotto of the VA on Monroe. That picture will bring a life time of memories thanks in part to all of you. Let’s stay focused and safe with this virus, and continue to impact people’s lives. Keep Cindy and Bernie in your prayers; we wish them swift recoveries.
