The Rotary Club of Subiaco invites fellow Rotarians and our local community to understand how kids learn to keep themselves safe in our digital world.
Presentation
Urgent preventative, contemporary cyber-education is needed in our Australian schools to increase children’s digital civility, savviness and self-protection before irreparable damage is done and before they become the next generation of digitally vulnerable or abusive adults.
Steven leads the operation, sales and marketing at DiGii Socia. DiGii Social is a solution that can be delivered into every school and home, ensuring today’s Digital Natives are prepared and protected, ready for 21st Century life.
Dads consistently discussed the importance of raising digital citizens and the impact of social media as the single biggest challenges of parenting. Steven is combining his experiences in the pursuit of digital-education for all our young people.
Steven spent 25 years in education with 10 years as a Principal in schools in Perth, regional WA, the NT and England. In 2008, he left education to take up a role as General Manager of a private investment company. During that time he became a volunteer at The Fathering Project before DiGii Social.
