Cyber Saturday Youth Program – Future Industry Development

Cyber Saturdays gives WA’s youth acccess to education and industry pathways that will lead to employment in the growing cyber security and ICT industries. The development of technology skills is important our region and at the same time, helps our kids to learn how to be safe online.

The Innovation Institute of WA's free cybersecurity course is for 12-18-year-olds.

Cyber Saturdays was launched last year in collaboration with the City of Subiaco and WA Aus Cyber Innovation Hub. The free nine-week 'Cyber Saturdays' program in focusses on cybersecurity both as a field of study/work and connected yout with the cyber industry.

Due to the success of the pilot program this year, Cyber Saturdays is increasing their 2021 programs to reach more young West Australians in the Perth metro area and the WA regional areas including Peel and Albany.
