Rotary Corner aka - Bicycles for Humanity update by Peter Moore.
The project has been running for over five years now. In that time B4H has delivered over 1,000 bikes. This year they have delivered 200+
With costs of transport rising so dramatically, especially the cost of sea containers, it is no longer financially viable to send bikes to Africa. Peter is looking at East Timor, where he has established long standing contacts and Rotary has a good track record. He is exploring opportunities with Rotary International to make this happen. Our club could travel to Dili and help if he gets the go ahead and support from RI.
Peter also thanked the club for the generosity in providing this year's insurance for the B4H Geraldton operations.
Raffle conducted by Lucky Phil Martin. Laurie Dines wins with the King of Diamonds.
