Meeting Highlights - May 17th

Another balmy night on the balcony before Sgt Viki called the meeting to order.

Twenty members and guests filed into Rotary Hall.

 

Greetings from the Sergeant and President Jo before Russell led us in an inspired Internet assisted invocation and a spontaneous toast to King and country.

Guests were introduced: Viki Sukiennik by Suki, Doreen Menezes by Charmaine and our guest speaker, Yvonne Lovedee by Clare McElhinney.

 

Thought For The Day: Sometimes, not saying anything is the best answer. You see, silence can never be misquoted.

Off to another wonderful dinner of chicken schnitzel and vegies.

 

RAFFLE AND ROTARY CORNER

Terry, without his regular glasses, gave us some interesting information about population density in Australia and how it related to Rotary !!

 

The raffle was a generous donation of 4 crayfish from Bob and Kevin and was won by the Joker, Dave Freeman.

FINES:

Russell was thrown in the deep end (nothing new for him), to conduct the fine session and he successfully drew considerable dollars from the assembled multitude.
