Landor Presentation with Russell (Stabbed) McKinnon
Russ travelled to Landor with fellow GGRC members Supreme leader P Sukiennik along with B Dring and D Freeman. The ambition to operate the bar on behalf of the East Gascoyne Racing Club. They went via Yalgoo in brilliant weather, but D Freeman travelling a little further behind encountered some rain.
Russell gave us the biggest slide show since Mum's home movie nights... some of the details included.
- It was the 101st Landor race meeting.
-The Landor racecourse is graded and watered.
-Fuel off the back of the track at the racecourse was selling for $2.50/litre
-There is a market day on race day
-There are fifteen races on the card. Each with 5-7 horses per race.
