Guest Speaker No 1 today was our very own PP Laurie Dines who gave us a tour of the “Camino Trail” in Spain walked by himself and Julie!
This is one of the many pilgrim trails in Spain, a VERY upmarket walk like our Bibbulmun track!
The track is marked by scallop shell markers, and you are provided with a passport that is stamped along the way as you go. (Even by several bagpipers!)
Instead of bush tracks, it seems the way includes coffee shops, shopping and very plush accommodation with silver service dining as well as baggage conveyed to each rest stop! (Sounds good to me, but the walking?? 20km on the first day?? Hmmm -ed) This is a huge industry in Spain!

Judging by the photos, Laurie and Jules had a great time! Laurie was thanked by Viki.
