Midwest Seniors were once again treated to a fine Afternoon Tea and entertainment on Australia Day, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Greater Geraldton.

Staged in the QEII Centre, over 100 Seniors were treated to tea, coffee, cakes, and sandwiches while listening to the City of Geraldton Brass Band and the talented singing of Warren and Karen Nathan.

Rotary President Jo Clarke said “this event is a fantastic way to reward our Seniors, providing them the chance to mingle, chat, toe tap and even dance, and it is a very much loved one too.

This annual event was first held in 1995 and on the day, it is hands on deck by all, always with an early and lengthy queue waiting for the doors to open.
When the day is complete, the warm smiles and happy faces say it all”

Special thanks to the City of Greater Geraldton, Geraldton City Band, Warren & Karen Nathan, Woolworths, Aussie Pastries, The Luscombe Syndicate, and Laian Restaurant for their excellent support of this day.
