District Rotary Foundation Dinner

Dear Members

On behalf of the Club Rotary Foundation Committee (CRFC), I would like to invite you and your Spouse to attend the District Rotary Foundation Dinner on 08 Oct 2019.

We are privileged to have Past RI President and current Rotary Foundation Chair, Gary Huang as the Guest of Honour. Gary Huang was RI President in 2014/2015, during the Presidency of PP Perlita Tiro. PRIP Gary will be best remembered for his gargantuan efforts in propelling Taiwan as the top few TRF-giving countries in the world.

Other than hearing the keynote speech by PRIP Gary, the Dinner also hopes to raise awareness of the Foundation’s objectives and how it does good in the world. Our District hopes to raise and commit at least USD$750,000 for this Rotary Year 2019/2020 and is looking towards our Club to lead the District in terms of attendance and contributions. For the newer Rotarians in our Club, this will be a great opportunity to meet Rotarians from our District including those from Johor, Malacca, Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei.

RC Singapore has committed to a number of tables in terms of attendance and we hope that you will support this event together with your Spouse. Furthermore, come in numbers to show your support for PRIP Gary, who is a Member of our Sister Club, RC Taipei and always speaks fondly of RC Singapore, as well as for our very own PP Dr Shahul Hameed, who has been invited to speak on how the Rotary’s Global Grants touched lives and do good in this world.
