District Governor's first official in person visit at the Rotary Club of Toronto Danforth.
On August 8th, DG Ron Dick, D7070 attended our outdoor meeting that was followed by a family picnic.
The Rotaract and Interact club members was also present. DG's spouse Karen, DGE Iosif Ciosa and his spouse Margerate, AG Sonam, President Prince of RC Toronto and President David of RC York attended the meeting as well. Club president Hossainuzaman called to order the meeting, and past President Farid Siddique lead the invocation. IPP Mujibur Rahman welcomed the guests, and AG Khorshed Khan introduced the visiting club Presidents.
All of the members were highly impressed with DG's speech. DG inducted four new members and four Rotarians handed over their USD 1000.00 cheque individually for PHF recognition. The program was nicely wrapped up with a vote thanks by President Elect Anwarul Kabir. At the end of the meeting we held the cultural programme.
