Thank you Marilyn Chambers!

President Marilyn Chambers ended her year+ of service on a high note. Richard Geiselhart (incoming President) presented a plaque to Marilyn for her outstanding service and dedication. Not everything Marilyn hoped to get done during her year as President was completed (such as the bus...) but here is a list of many of the projects that were completed during Marilyn's term: implementing a new bookkeeping system for the club treasury, $250 donation to the Central Elementary School reading/library program, providing holiday food baskets to local families, helping Jamestown Rotary fund the Nepal International Project, funding (with matching funds from the District) the Guatemala school library project led by member Suzanne Pehl, completing the Football Book fundraiser, raising funds for Shelter Boxes for people affected by disasters, providing dictionaries to all Richland County third graders, bell ringing for the Salvation Army, being voted teh Best Club in the Valley (3 years in a row!), helping NDSCS with the Backpacks to Briefcase program, and completing future planning/visioning for the Wahpeton Rotary Club.
