Nancy Froemke and Robert "Tully" Chambers, of the Rotary Club of Wahpeton-Breckenridge, were recognized as Paul Harris Fellows during a club meeting, September 18th, 2018.  The Paul Harris Fellow recognition, named after the founder of Rotary International, is bestowed upon individuals whose donations to the Rotary Foundation exceed $1,000.  Because of the generous donations of Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike, the Rotary Foundation has spent approximately $3 billion over the past 100 years to fund humanitarian efforts around the globe.  As a result of Rotary Foundation efforts, we have wiped out 99.9% of all polio cases.  The foundation also serves to fund the training of future peacemakers, support clean water initiatives and strengthen local economies around the world.  We are proud of our local Rotarians - Nancy Froemke and Robert Chambers - for their commitment to the humanitarian works of Rotary International.

During this meeting, the Rotary Club of Wahpeton Breckenridge was also pleased to host the District Governor Blaine Johnson.  Blaine is serving District 5580 for the Rotary year of 2018/2019.  It was an honor to have District Governor Johnson assist President Jace Picken in the recognition of two local donors.
