During his visit to the Rotary Club of Wahpeton, N.D., District Governor Tom Riley presented three Paul Harris Awards to individuals who were not Rotarians but made major contributions to the English double Deck Bus project.  Dan Keogh of the Red River and Western Railroad contributed countless hours of labor over the nine years of the rebuilding project.  Some joked that it was at the behest of his wife, Rotarian and Past President of the club Donna Keogh.  A second award went to Terry Pehl, TLP Trucking, for his allowing the club to use their garage facility for the last several years of the work.  That award was accepted by his wife Rotarian Suzanne Pehl.  The final of these awards went to the late Gerry S. Beck, Tri-State Aviation, who initially purchased the old bus and moved it to Wahpeton before donating it to the Park District.  His wife Cindy Schreiber-Beck was scheduled to accept the award on his behalf but at last minute was unable to attend the ceremony.
