Guatemalan Library Project

Both Diane & Royce were Peace Corps volunteers to Guatemala before going back several times as project leaders for Rotary. The Guatemalan Library Project has been well supported by Wahpeton Rotary. Suzanne Pehl, Wahpeton Rotary, wrote and obtained a grant for funds to obtain library books for several schools (many built by Rotarian volunteers) in Guatemala. Both Suzanne Pehl and Dick Geiselhart, Wahpeton Rotary members, have traveled as volunteers to Guatemala. Pictured (l to r) are Royce Smith, Diane Smith, and Wahpeton Rotary President Todd Gafkjen.
