Little Free Library

The Staples Rotary Club is planning to install two Little Free Library book exchange boxes in Staples. Marv Rothstein, right, built and painted the first box from donated material. Kurt Wilson, left, club president, is helping to finish it. They will be shingling it and painting the trim. Discussion is continuing on possible locations in the community. Little Free Library is a worldwide, nonprofit organization based in St. Paul dedicated to expanding book access for all. The boxes will be stocked by volunteers with a variety of books for children, young adults and adults. People are welcome to take a book and are encouraged to leave a book.
