Fellow Rotarians,
The November 4, 2021 meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza to recognize Blandine Daigle with the Wayne McCoy Spirit of Virginia Beach Award. This is a new Award that is designed to embody the spirt of individuals who volunteer for the City of Virginia Beach.
Blandine has volunteered for the Virginia Beach Police Department for over 6 years, logging in over 4,000 hours. She has volunteered in the department's Crime Prevention Unit, as well as on the Project Lifesaver program, the Religious Institutions Security Program, the Citizen's Police Academy, the Youth Police Academy, the VBPD Chaplain's Program, the Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association, the Senior Citizen's Police Academy, and the SALT/Triad program.
