17-May-2023 saw the heavy rain outside not deterring twenty six RCKGM faithful from a great Regular Meeting within the cosy walls of B2 place… the place KGMERS call home...
Andrew Wells from the Commonwealth Chamber of Hong Kong was on hand to give a colorful and great insight as to the fairly new but extremely well connected Commerce Chamber in Hong Kong. Andrew is a classic / a true Hong Kong patron of public service and really informs super well, with humor and wit and so it was super fun having him as our Guest of Honor.
Chinese dishes were on our plates, wine was yum & we had Fun Result!
As president it was my last meeting in our cosy home. Now on to the Club Installation June 14th in the Big Ballroom. Look forward to seeing all then. P Simon

Twenty Six Rotarians and Guests were in the warm cosy Loong Yuen Restaurant for our regular RCKGM lunch meeting. But no meeting at RCKGM should be titled “REGULAR”.
This lunch was indeed a “Heat Pump” of activity. We were honoured to have DG Norman Lee back smiling at RCKGM, and on hand to pin our latest Major Donor in PP Babu, and 3 new PHF fellows in PP Babu lovely wife Clara and his two handsome boys in Tazmil and Latiful…. Well done Family PP Babu. You are now club legends!
We also had Rtn Kevin back at SOA. But the real heat came with the guest speaker in Dennis Tung in educating us on Heat Pumps. Take away is “If the setting is right they can ROI very quickly and save a lot in energy Costs“. Thanks Dennis, You certainly had our attention. See you all back in B2 next week. Don’t change that dial!

RCKGM Regular and Xmas Party fired up nicely yesterday. Super thanks to DG Norman and PDG Erik for putting on their party hats and joining us. Great to have CP Chandru with us as well. Special thanks to our Rtn Gary who had arranged 27 from the Ethnic Minorities Groups to join us and make the party so much fun. We had Santa Claus doing what he does so well in gifting all the kids, this time from his cold base of North Point (not North Pole).
Enjoy the photos. Merry Xmas and Happy Seasons Greetings to you all!

Twenty one of us were in the Home of RCKGM yesterday (Feb 15, 2023). Cosy!! To have Ashok and Dipjay as guests. With a lot of regular members away enjoying travel once again.
Super pleased to have Ark Eden Founder, Jenny Quinton joined to tell us more about her great outdoor work with her awesome camp, the eco center, the 37,000 trees she has planted, & great outdoor education to children she provides on her home base of Lantau.
Thanks Jenny for all you do for our young ones. As a club we were happy to have you on hand to also pick up your check for the next lucky group of kids we are sending your way.
Thanks to SOA for educating us on some Historical game changing Ladies of notable history, your “Please Explain”, and filling our “Blue Box”.
All is good!
Hoping we can get back the bigger RCKGM numbers next time we rumble...which is March 8th!

Heat wave conditions, a few showers, made for action a plenty and very successful event, and fitting end to this current Fundraising year. Thanks to all the KGMERS and their families, our Rotaractors, two Junioractors and Interactors for being on hand for us doing the hard yards.
Done. Dusted. Exhausted, but still KGM Smiling!!!

RCKGM Meeting of this week was very special. Why? As four new members were inducted by PDG Eric Chin. Welcome Rtn Miranda, Polly, Dinesh and Anmol. A major donor recognition Level 3 to our PP Raja Dawani, plus we were swamped by like 12 very welcome guests. But to top that we learned from CP Roy Tang how to make money through "not drinking our better wines" with his very interesting "Investing in Wine" presentation. Thanks CP Roy. We now all regret drinking our 1982 Lafite!

RCKGM Regular Meeting 2022/10/12
Delighted to have 28 in the home of the RCKGM Wednesday 2022/10/12.
Was busy!!! As we had a special guest in AG Dr Michelle Yeung to tell how good we are doing at District Level and so that brought a smile. Dr Michelle also presented to us her lovely work as a vet with the ACFD Dept in HKG. As Covid sensitive country / plus having bird flu / SARS etc, it is interesting to hear stories of the management systems within the ACFD.
We also had Deven pick up the SOA sash and do a fine job in polishing up on our knowledge of the planet we live on! Remember...do not feed the pigeons!

RCKGM was walking the runway last Monday night, with our Annual Pre-Loved Fashion Handbags Auction. Boom!
PP Gautam discovered a super talent as his auctioneering skills were "the goods"… He can deadset sell ice to the Esimkos & sand to the Arabs… and so the $$ flowed in as wine & dine flowed out!
Great night. Big $ earned. Monday Madness.
All funds earned go to our local and International projects.
Many thanks to PP Ebe / PP Elissa whom donated so many bags to this great annual event. Plus all the great organisers and for all the guests for taking part. We smoked it.

10-May-2023 Today's Regular Lunch Meeting had 25 in the Home OF RCKGM. A Lunch of mixed emotions. On one hand we had a wonderful Speaker in Sidhant Gupta from Clearbot whom is young, energetic and making waves with his wonderful A1 boats that cleans seas and rivers !!!! Sidhant was up lifting, and as PP Dave correctly put it "we needed uplifting"... as today was the day we mourned the passing of our Own PDG Dipo Sani whom suddenly passed away this week. PDG Dipo was our Club Legend, District Governor from 1999-2000 / our mentor, our friend. He will be dearly missed in District 3450 and especially at his Rotary home in us @ RCKGM.
