Yatish Aron is a senior banker with over 20 years of experience with large financial institutions in Asia, currently working with HSBC Private Bank in Hong Kong. He has been a member of RC KGM since 2006 and been an active volunteer with Isha Foundation, an international non-profit organisation headquarter in South India. He co-founded the Hong Kong chapter of Isha Foundation. He will be talking to RCKGM on : “Cauvery Calling - a river revitalisation project”, one of the largest ecological movements on the planet.
Cauvery Calling - River Revitalisation’ program in South India that Yatish have been involved with as a volunteer for past few years. It’s a comprehensive solution to transform the ecology and the economy of the River Cauvery River basin by planting 2.42 billion trees in next 12 years. Trees will be planted by farmers on their lands by guiding and supporting them from rice and wheat to agro-forestry / mixed cropping.
