Membership on the rise!

Membership in the Champions Rotary Club has steadily increased over the last few weeks thanks to the efforts of Membership Director, Rod Overlander and fellow members. In an effort to increase diversity among the occupational representatives, the club has focused on areas such as non-profits, safety and security, and veterans for representation. To become a member, each applicant is sponsored by a current member and the club council reviews each application for discussion and approval. Once the applicant is determined to be a good fit for Champions Rotary they are presented before the club members and inducted by the club president. All new members are encouraged to participate on a committee and serve as a ambassador to welcome guests to each meeting. Immediate immersion in club activities encourages new members to offer their input and expertise in many of the community projects the club participates in.
