Run the Runway 2019. Thank you to everyone who has offered to help. We will have a list of jobs and names out next week for you all. It will be a really fun event, do encourage people you know to take part. Some new innovations this year including: Tickets are half last year's price and we have both a family concession which is very good value and a team event for 4 people. Mainland Air is supporting us again this year with a free Training flight, for the fastest runner. That is a fantastic prize. We are going to set up the paddock for parking and registration on Saturday 2nd February in the afternoon, as people just arrived too early last year and we didn't have time to be organised. The registration desk will be in the carpark by the BBQ. This should streamline things a bit too. - Dunedin is the only commercial runway in New Zealand to have been opened to the public in this way
- Run the Runway only happens in 3 places in the Southern Hemisphere - South Africa, Sydney Australia and her in Dunedin
- Mobility scooters, prams and wheelchairs are allowed, so no excuses.

The first roster for emptying the supermarket bins has now run out and Fraser will be preparing a new one on Monday evening. Be prepared to raise your hand when he asks who is prepared to do the job for a week at a time. The job consists of visiting the two supermarkets each day and either wheeling the bin out to your car or filling a trolley and wheeling it to your car. Last tiime we were in pairs so the job can be shared of split up to suit. Teams have been sorting books at the lock-up and you may like to offer help instead, or as well.

Good to see Jesse Kerr home again and it doesn't seem like a whole year since he went away. He is bursting to tell us of his great adventure and we will see his presentation to us on Monday night. I am not sure how long he will be around as he certainly has itchy feet for more travel.
