Run the Runway 2019.
Thank you to everyone who has offered to help. We will have a list of jobs and names out next week for you all.
It will be a really fun event, do encourage people you know to take part.
 
Some new innovations this year including:
 
Tickets are half last year's price and we have both a family concession which is very good value and a team event for 4 people.
 
Mainland Air is supporting us again this year with a free Training flight, for the fastest runner. That is a fantastic prize.
 
We are going to set up the paddock for parking and registration on Saturday 2nd February in the afternoon, as people just arrived too early last year and we didn't have time to be organised.
The registration desk will be in the carpark by the BBQ. This should streamline things a bit too.
MTF Finance Dunedin South, Tony Gow and his team are supporting us again this year and will run the BBQ and provide the Gazebo

SOME RUNWAY FACTS TO SHARE WITH OTHERS
  • The Dunedin runway is 1.9km long
  • Dunedin is the only commercial runway in New Zealand to have been opened to the public in this way
  • Run the Runway only happens in 3 places in the Southern Hemisphere - South Africa, Sydney Australia and her in Dunedin
  • Mobility scooters, prams and wheelchairs are allowed, so no excuses.
