John Taal shared with us the major changes and new products in the chainsaw market. The mainstay of Milton chainsaws is an 80cc saw. They now have a fuel injected 2 stroke motor which is plugged in to a laptop to calibrate and tune. He shared information about what is considered to be the saw of the century - 1kg lighter, 30inch bar, approx $2000.
the second item John shared with us is the Stihl, battery powered pruning saw. Run time is 45minutes of continuous running. It is a home garden toy - $199. I'd be keen on one for xmas!
