District 9980 are looking for Rotary Clubs to host incoming students for their Rotary Exchange year. If you would like to host a student in your home for 4 months, please let John know. The club members certainly enjoyed having Anna Inisan, from France, in our club 2017-18 and she was a great asset to have in our school.
I have also advertised the opportunity for students to go overseas on a Rotary Exchange. Last year our club hosted Macy Bisset - what an amazing year she had based in Denmark. If you know of any young people you believe would benefit from an exchange opportunity, please encourage them to apply. Application details are below.
High School Students Wanted
Rotary Clubs are now seeking applications for motivated secondary school students interested in spending a year overseas as part of Rotary’s long established, successful educational and cultural exchange.
- Students must be aged between 16 and 18½ at departure in January 2020
- No family Rotary affiliation required
- Applications close 30th April 2019

Note: Costs for accommodation are covered by the Rotary Clubs – the student has to pay their own air-fares and spending money. This is a very worthwhile, cost effective way to do a student exchange.
