The Story of the Land Packages
Evan Dick first shared his story of his families long time connection with Kaitangata and to tell his story of the Land Packages and how the idea was formed. Evan could see the town where he grew up going backwards and decided to something about it they organised a group and with support from the council spread the word of the positive aspects of the area. From this small beginnings Social Media and Media swamped Evan with inquiry's from around the world . Moving forward the group have homes being built and sold now and have a great package for first home buyers in conjunction with the council which has increased interest in the area. The snowball effect of this effort with a new Church/Hall facility for all residents.
