We certainly were hit quickly by this lockdown as New Zealand responded to the outbreak of the Delta variant.
I was on a flight back to Dunedin on the Tuesday evening, not knowing anything about the lockdown. I got to Dunedin airport about 6.30pm to find we were going into level 4 lcokdown at 11.59pm that night.
I hope you have all been well over the lockdown time and you are looking after each other. Stay connected. “We under-estimate sometimes the comfort that phone contact can bring, you can still feel a sense of connection and closeness even if it’s not face-to-face.”
