We will be at Broadway Park -- the Rotary picnic shelter has been reserved for the remaining Wednesdays between now and Labor Day. As of today, there were only three picnic tables there but the City has agreed to bring in a fourth, hopefully before tomorrow's meeting. If it isn't an inconvenience, it might be best if you can bring your own chair. Meals have been ordered for our guests and the following Rotarians: Wally, Greg, Ken, Dave J, Jamie (with two guests), Randy, Hal. Steve L., Buzz, John, Dean, this writer, Brian and Pete. Please attend even if you didn't order a meal, either in person or via Zoom. And if you attend in person, you can enjoy a piece of cake in honor of our school nurses. Mayor Ben Schierer has signed a proclamation making Wednesday School Nurse Day in Fergus Falls, and City Administrator Andrew Bremseth will be present to read it. We will be presenting Paul Harris Fellow recognition to Lance Wells and three public school nurses: Mandy Ellison, Lori Jensen and Jennifer Kohorst, as well as $100 in Fergus Falls Bucks to each. Hillcrest school nurse Rachel Venberg will be similarly honored at a later date.
