This Wednesday, we need everyone to turn in their Rotary Roses sale sheet. If you can't attend our meeting, please e-mail a copy to me at robert@russelllawoffice.com. Remember, we want all money turned in either before or after the rose distribution at Service on Thursday. That means you are responsible for collecting the money from your customers. The only money we want to see on Thursday is from those grocery shoppers who decide to buy at the spur of the moment. It is much easier to track that way. So if you have a customer that hasn't paid you yet but is picking up the roses him or herself, tell that customer you will collect the money and don't put our volunteers on Thursday in a position where they have to keep track of someone paying for roses they pre-ordered.
I will make copies of everyone's sales sheets and give them back to you for reference just in case the Club decides to do another rose sale next year.
In terms of count, I reduced our order from 300 to 250 dozen roses, which is the lowest number we have ordered since 250. So far, I have a count of 138 sold by our Club and 46 sold by Sunrise, for a total of 184. We therefore have more to sell between now and Thursday.
