Remember, we want a good count of how many dozen roses we have sold by our November 2nd meeting. To increase your anticipation of getting together that day, the somewhat annual rose trivia test will be administered. More importantly there will be a special prize for the person who is judged to have provided the best ending to the following limerick using the word "lollipop": While roses can be red and violets come in blue ... Example of a possible entry: "Our roses are lollipop in many wonderful hues." Now I know we have a lot of creative minds in our Club who can do much better than that, so take up the challenge, don't be bashful and bring your completed limeric on a piece of paper with your name on it for turning in at the beginning of our November 2nd meeting. Could this be more exciting?
