I hope everyone is making a strong effort to sell peaches, as we need a count by this Wednesday so we can get a good idea of how many to order. Even though we are not expecting to receive them for distribution until Monday, August 16th (and there will be a sign-up sheet circulated at this week's meeting to identify volunteers to work that day), there is a lead time we have to give the producer so the appropriate number can be on the truck for us when it leaves Washington State. So please, make it your goal to contact as many people as possible before Wednesday's meeting and give a count to Jamie or Keith that day -- by e-mail if you can't attend that day. Remember, if we reach 880 lugs (10 pallets), we will dispense with the spring raffle!
