You should have received a letter over the weekend setting forth our goal to make every member of our Club a Paul Harris Fellow by June 30th!  That will take your assistance as explained in the letter and, as a bonus, the effort will also raise additional funds for the Splash Pad.  A meeting at City Hall last Friday morning attended by this writer, Ken Harty, Zack Stach and Brian Tjaden left us all encouraged that the Splash Pad will ultimately be built; more information on that will be provided as soon as possible.  In the meantime, I presume we all received the following e-mail from The Rotary Foundation, which serves as a good reminder of what we are trying to accomplish with our Rotary Minute Plus Insurance in less than a month:

Dear Rotarian:

Every day, Rotary clubs respond to challenges in communities around the world. Their work is often supported by Rotary Foundation grants, which are made possible by contributions from you and your fellow Rotary members.

Our members and other donors help Rotary accomplish amazing things. In 2021-22, we’ve already funded more than 475 district grants, 1,058 global grants, and 189 disaster response grants. With each grant project, Rotary members are working with communities to address ongoing issues and find solutions to emerging ones.

Please support The Rotary Foundation. Your gift will fund the work of your fellow Rotary members and make Doing Good in the World possible.
