Tim Hunt offered our invocation, and Kathy Austvold was our song leader. President Ryan reminded us of the Habitat build on July 1st and that we will have our lunch there, on sight. We have distributed the Josh the Otter water safety books to kindergarten students and Katie Johnson posted a picture of Mary Pettit reading to one class on Facebook. For brags and fines, Steve Andrews pointed out that the front cover of the June Rotary Magazine features a picture taken by Sunrise Rotarian Eric Strand. Hal Leland contributed for missing last week's meeting but explained he was bringing his wife home, marking off more spots on his card for her improving health. Steve Austvold reported on catching their limits of northerns on Swan Lake with his friend from California, returning them all for future anglers to enjoy. Tim Hunt bragged about the program at The Center for the Arts the prior evening, as did Buzz Lundeen who also told us he will be out in Yakima, Washington the next couple weeks.
Our program was to do some clean-up work at the Salvation Army, with thanks to all who provided a helping hand.
