The Derby is only two days away and everyone needs to redouble their effort to sell any remaining tickets still in their possession -- and I have more if you need them. We need all sold and unsold tickets and funds (unless you think you are going to sell more between our meeting and 3:00 on Thursday, in which case you can turn in those additional tickets sold to this writer at Spies Riverfront Park at 3:00 p.m.) turned in at tomorrow's Rotary meeting or to Bob Russell's office in the Wells Fargo Bank building by 4:30 p.m. tomorrow.
It turns out we won't be able to use Keith's loader to drop the ducks into the river, so we will do it as in past years.
We only have two people signed up to sell tickets at Spies Riverfront Park and five people to help with the duck drop and retrieval -- we need more for both. If you cannot be at our Wednesday meeting to sign-up please contact me at (218) 205-6944 to indicate you will be able to help out and when.
Remember to bring your duck call if you already have one or pick one up before the big race so we can call attention to the race!
