We met at the Salvation Army for lunch and a brief meeting led by President Ryan. After the Pledge, invocation and 4-Way Test, announcements centered on where we were with peach sales and how to move the last 105 lugs yet today. Members were encouraged to buy and donate. The plan was for the truck to be open the rest of the day and to set up at Farmer’s Market in the afternoon. Brags & Fines included Tim Hunt fining himself eight punches for not helping much lately due to Desta’s health and her need for his attention. Stephanie Growe paid fines for missing several meetings this summer and to celebrate being back. Mary paid a scooter buck.
Then we headed to the new FM Bank where Scott Debrito gave us an overview outside ot it, sharing the goal of an early October opening. Then he, Zach Good and Corey Thompson each took a small group of Rotarians on a tour of the building including the bank offices and public areas, its new drive through deposit box, new coin counter, a nice conference room that may possibly be open to the public for use by reservation, and the tenant areas that will be occupied by Cally’s Café and Ryan Hanson Homes.
