Speaker - John Pearson

British Deputy High Commissioner to NZ

John Pearson is currently the British Deputy High Commissioner to NZ. He previously was UK Ambassador in Laos where he spent four years. As a diplomat, John Pearson believes in disrupting the status quo at times to improve a situation, and that may involve questioning others instead of just being ‘polite’.

He is ex Nottingham University and Kings College London.

John is a runner, keen cyclist, and has a strong focus on sustainability.
