From 2019 to 2023, this ambitious project brought vaccines to Pacific Island Countries, protecting children and teenagers from pneumonia, diarrhoea, and cervical cancer. Despite facing obstacles like COVID-19 and natural disasters, Rotary’s efforts ensured over 140,000 young lives were safeguarded. With UNICEF’s support, the project didn’t just provide vaccines—it strengthened health policies, systems, and caregiver awareness, creating lasting progress in immunization.

Rotary Emergency Response Kits (ERKs) are vital lifelines during natural disasters in the South Pacific, providing emergency shelter, clothing, tools, and medical supplies to families in need. Pre-packed with over 60 essentials, these kits can even serve as water containers, ensuring survival during the toughest times. Rotary Clubs in New Zealand store and swiftly distribute them whenever disaster strikes.
