Rotary Guest Speaker Tara Gallagher from the new Ronald McDonald House in Duluth
Tara Gallagher, from the new Ronald McDonald House Northland in Duluth spoke with Skyline Rotary on Friday, September 30th. The new facility supports pediatric hospital patients by assisting the child's family with housing, meals and other support while their child is being treated at the hospital. All of the services provided by the Ronald McDonald house are free to families while their child is in the hospital. The facility is located right on the Essentia campus in Duluth. The Ronald McDonald House Northland has made it easy for everyone to help support this amazing cause. One way is to save your aluminum pop tops. Tara shared a few collection boxes with the group. If you have a stash of pop tops, be sure to hand them off to a rotary membe,r and we'll get them to the foundation's collection bin. We hope to be assisting with building a big pop top collection unit in the near future as well. The Ronald McDonald house also has several ways to donate directly as well.
