Skyline Rotary woodshed project at the Boys and Girls Club Camp on Island Lake - July 30, 2021
Another project for the kids
Skyline Rotary Club in its nearly 50 years has done many projects to improve the lives of our community’s kids. On Friday, July 30 the Club built a woodshed at the Boys and Girls Club Camp on Island Lake. The woodshed will make it possible for kids to gather around a campfire on the beach to tell stories, sing songs, build friendships, and make wonderful memories. Greg and Mark pre-cut the lumber so the crew could assemble the 4’ x 6’ shed in an afternoon. The friendships that Rotarians build while working together on projects is often identified as the most important reason to be a Rotarian. As with all of our service projects, the materials are funded by the community purchasing peaches. We will be selling a semi truck load of peaches starting Friday, August 20th. Buy peaches and help us to help the kids.
