Mental Health

Rachel is a Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience. She is the owner of Northbrook Counseling in Duluth and Ashland, WI. She is a graduate of St. Olaf College and earned her Masters in Social work from Washington University  in St. Louis. 

RI President Gordon McInally asked Rotarians to focus on mental health during his year as President. He is asking us to both support mental health with our service projects and to focus on improving mental health while interacting with our fellow Rotarians. DG Dave Long would also like us to do at least one mental health related service project. Understanding of mental health issues is foreign to most people unless they have had to deal with an issue within their family. Rachel will help us to understand where to find opportunities to do a meaningful mental health project in Duluth and how to increase our awareness when those around us are struggling with a mental health issue.
