Our Guest speaker on Monday is Kurt Meyer.

Kurt was a career diplomat with the  NZ Diplomatic Corps and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade for thirty years during which time he held positions including the Consul General in Washington and Australia and as the High Commissioner in Niue and the Cook Islands. He was also the Director of Security and Communications for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade based in Wellington and the Director of the Regional Office of that Ministry in Auckland.

In the course of his career, Kurt has rubbed shoulders with people ranging from American Presidents to English Royalty. He will talk to the club about the Commission positions he held and the many people he had dealings with.
