Brian Leonard

Electrical Engineer

Brian is an electrical engineer who was graduated by the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree. He worked in New Zealand on the generation and transmission of high voltage power from 1973 until 1994. He then moved to Australia and worked internationally, living in Australia, Malaysia, Iraq, Jordan, Mozambique, Laos, and the Philippines – with his longest assignments being nearly 5 years in Malaysia and nearly 4 years in Mozambique. He also had brief assignments in Jordan and Indonesia. He now works part time from home in Papakura.

Brian will recount some tales of his work in diverse places.

Breakfast meeting registrations close at 11 a.m. on the Monday. For a short time after this, it may be possible to request changes via President Byran.

Failure to register your attendance can cause problems for Northern Club catering.
