Newmarket Rotary at Remuera Golf Club

Our next meeting is our monthly evening meeting on 4 February 2020 at Remuera Golf Club.

Our guest speaker is intended to be Melodie Robinson a well known New Zealand sports journalist and presenter, and former international rugby union player for the New Zealand women's national rugby union team. She played 18 tests for the New Zealand women's team, the Black Ferns, from 1996 to 2002.

Most recently Melodie has been appointed TVNZ's General Manager Sports and Events so she will be involved in many of the major sports events that appear on TVNZ channels.

We will also be hearing from Eva our exchange student on what she has been doing since she arrived in New Zealand and how she is coping with living, presently, with the New Zealand version of the Adams family that is your presidents household.

Please note that Melodie's attendance is subject to her escaping from her duties at TVNZ but we are confident that she will be able atend our meeting and talk to us about her life as a sports-person, sports presenter and now a senior media personality and how she fits that in with life as a parent and partner of another busy sports person.
