DL Breakfast Rotary's program on 10/3/23 was on Safe Wakes presented by Charles Becker. Charles gave us information on the negative impact on lakes, lake biology, lake chemistry, other recreationists, boats and docks from the large waves generated by Wake Boats. Also wake boats can increase the spread of aquatic invasive species from ballast tanks that are not completely flushed out and decontaminated.
