L'Arche Stratford - Building Campaign at 426 Britannia Street

L’Arche Stratford purchased the former Montessori School at 426 Britannia Street in 2017.  Offering 20,000 sf of space over three levels, this new-to-us building – when renovated - will enable L’Arche Stratford to provide six accessible suites for individuals with and without intellectual disabilities who will follow the L’Arche model of inclusive living.  426 Britannia Street will also provide badly needed activity and programming spaces for disabled individuals seeking to use ‘Passport’ dollars for training and social interaction.  Finally, the building will address L’Arche Stratford’s currently cramped administrative office needs.  In fact, we will be able to lease office and meeting rooms to other not-for-profit groups - which will provide a service to them while creating an income stream to assist with L’Arche Stratford’s sustainability.
