This week we will be joined Rotary Peace Fellow Titus Kemboi and Leslie Smith the Peace Fellowship Chair for District 9620 and the Vice-President of Rotary Club of Paddington to talk about the Rotary Peace Fellowships.
Each year, the Rotary Foundation selects up to 130 individuals from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships at one of our peace centers. One of peace centers is the University of Queensland (UQ). During the one-year blended learning program, experienced peace and development professionals with diverse backgrounds gain practical skills to promote peace within their communities and across the globe. Fellows complete field studies and design and carry out a social change initiative. This program is intended for working professionals. Fellows earn a post-graduate diploma upon completion of the program.
Titus recently graduated from UQ with his Masters in Peace and Conflict. We will his about his story and his experiences.
